Williams Lake

Home to the Williams Lake Stampede, the second largest professional rodeo in Canada after the Calgary Stampede, this small city in British Columbia's Cariboo region has run the event annually since 1919 — with a wartime break between 1939 and 1947 — typically over a long weekend in late June or early July.
