Henan Province · China
Xinyang, in southeastern Henan Province, is the birthplace of Xinyang Maojian, one of China's ten most celebrated teas, and sits at the upper reaches of the Huai River with several tributaries threading through the city. Jiugong Mountain, one of China's four traditional summer retreats, lies within the prefecture, alongside Nanwan Lake National Forest Park and Jingang Platform National Geopark, giving the city a range of natural destinations beyond its tea heritage.
