Xylokastro

Modest seaside town on the Gulf of Corinth in the Peloponnese, Xylokastro draws weekend visitors from Athens with a long white-pebbled beach, a marina, and a pine forest at Pefkia. Cafés and restaurants fill its compact centre, and vineyards spread through the surrounding area.
