Åkrehamn
Norway
Little town on the western coast of Karmøy island in Norway's Rogaland county, Åkrehamn grew from a fishing harbour into a compact urban centre with industry, retail, and services through the 20th century. The protected harbour area of Mannes anchors the northern part of town, which incorporates the old fishing village of Sævelandsvik. Granted town status in 2002, it sits within the Haugesund Region and is the second largest town in Karmøy Municipality.
