Briones

Tiny wine-country village in La Rioja Alta, Briones sits on a hill above the Ebro river, its northern slope dropping almost vertically to the water. Set in the Rioja Alta wine-growing area near Haro, it belongs to the association of Spain's most beautiful villages, and has a handful of cafés and restaurants for its size.
