Caiazzo

A compact Campanian town on the right bank of the Volturno river, Caiazzo has a compact central core with cafés and restaurants alongside scenic views of the surrounding countryside. Part of the Cittaslow network of slow-travel towns, it sits in the province of Caserta, a short distance northeast of Capua, with mountains close by and a wider region ringed by UNESCO World Heritage sites.
