This compact Bolivian town in the Cochabamba Department that sits on the transition zone between the Andes and the subtropical yungas of the Chapare region, giving it varied terrain — rolling hills, plains, and mountain ridges — within a compact area. Founded in 1945, Colomi serves as the municipal seat of its section of Chapare Province and holds its main annual celebration on 14 October in honour of the Virgin of the Rosary.
