Tiny fishing town and seaside resort at the northernmost tip of Zealand, Gilleleje has a café and restaurant scene that punches above its size. The harbour and coastline define the town's character, with the headland of Gilbjerg Hoved just to the west and the lighthouse at Nakkehoved to the east.
