Gjern

This modest town in central Jutland, Gjern sits alongside the Gjern river and within the rolling Gjern Bakker landscape. The Jysk Automobilmuseum, a large automobile collection, is the town's main draw for visitors. Once a railway town in Silkeborg Municipality, it also has a ski centre at the nearby holiday resort, though the year-round artificial slope is now closed.
