Gravina in Puglia
Bari · Italy
Gravina in Puglia is a southern Italian town in the Bari metropolitan area whose name comes from the deep limestone canyons — gravine — that cut through its territory, spanned by an aqueduct bridge likely dating to the 17th century. The town is home to the Alta Murgia National Park and holds a compact centre with cafés, restaurants, and a concentration of historic churches. In 2025 it was granted the official title of Città by the Italian president.
