Grčarevec
Slovenia
A little village in Slovenia's Inner Carniola region, set between the hills of Mesarjev hrib and Lanski vrh with the peak of Volčji vrh rising above. The surrounding area holds numerous caves and pits, including the roughly 100-metre-long Kozja jama and two shafts each exceeding 100 metres in depth; woolly rhinoceros remains were found in one cave in 1933. A cycling route passes through, and a church dedicated to St. Luke, built in 1746, stands at the village centre.
