Kitwe

Zambia's second largest city by size, Kitwe sits at the heart of the Copperbelt Province, where active copper mines ring the city's north-western and western edges and define its industrial character. The Copperbelt University, one of Zambia's leading higher-education institutions, is based here, and the city is among the country's more developed commercial centres outside Lusaka.
