This Serbian Orthodox village in the hills above Valjevo holds the burial site of Saint Nikolaj Velimirović of Ohrid and Žiča, one of the most venerated figures in the Serbian Orthodox Church, interred here alongside his parents and nephew. The nearby Lelić Monastery draws pilgrims and visitors, and the surrounding hills — Brdo, Prljuša, Bobija, and others — are fed by two springs, Ljutenac and Studenac.
