Lordat

The ruins of Lordat's castle, a classified historic monument since 1923, sit on a rocky spur above the upper Ariège valley in southwestern France, with wide views over the Sabarthès region. This small hamlet in the Ariège department also lies within an area of notable natural heritage, drained by mountain streams and surrounded by five designated ecological zones.
