Milea

This modest hamlet in the Ioannina regional unit of Epirus sits right on the water with mountain terrain close by, and carries a surprisingly active café and restaurant scene for its size. Part of the municipality of Metsovo since 2011, it lies a short drive from that larger town. The wider region holds several UNESCO World Heritage sites, and Milea's waterside setting gives it a strong visual character.
