Mosėdis, a small town in Samogitia, northwestern Lithuania, is known for its Rare Stones Museum — an outdoor collection begun by Vaclovas Intas that has since spread across the town. The museum occupies a water mill on the Bartuva River. The town also has an 18th-century Baroque Catholic church dedicated to St. Michael the Archangel, and an ancient hill fort in its southern part.
