Orosei

This small Sardinian town on the Gulf of Orosei, with beaches including Cala Ginepro, Cala Liberotto, and the Bidderosa Oasis stretching along a long coastline. The medieval historic centre is well preserved, and the town holds an unusual number of churches for its size — 13 survive from a documented 27, among them San Giacomo Apostolo and Sant'Antonio Abate. Three religious festivals punctuate the year, including the Sant'Antonio celebration marked by a large communal fire.
