Papingo

Two small villages — Megalo Papingo and Mikro Papingo — sit at the base of Mount Radovoli in the Vikos–Aoös National Park, in the Zagori region of Epirus. Despite their hamlet scale, both carry a disproportionate number of churches and enough cafés and restaurants to sustain a stay, with mountain viewpoints close at hand and water nearby. The wider region holds UNESCO World Heritage recognition.
