Podčetrtek

This pocket-sized wine-growing village in eastern Slovenia's Styria region, Podčetrtek sits beside the river Sotla and is home to Terme Olimia, a thermal spa complex that draws visitors to the area. The village gained market rights in 1328 and has a medieval castle above the settlement. Viticulture remains active alongside tourism as the main economic activities today.
