Sarangkot
Nepal
Sarangkot, a hill village above Pokhara in Nepal's Kaski District, draws visitors for its panoramic views of the Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Manaslu ranges, best seen from the view tower at sunrise. The site is also regarded as one of the world's top paragliding launch points, with several take-off spots on the hill. On the other side, Phewa Lake spreads out below. Several Hindu temples, including the Bhumey Kalika and Bageshwari temples, are among the local religious sites.
