Sidney
Sidney · Canada
A waterfront small town on Vancouver Island's Saanich Peninsula, Sidney has a café and restaurant scene that is well stocked for its size, and a shoreline along the island-studded Haro Strait that draws regular visitors with cameras. The town is also Canada's only port of call in the Washington State Ferries system, with crossings to the San Juan Islands and Anacortes, and sits close to BC Ferries' Swartz Bay Terminal. Sidney is further known as a book town, with a dozen independent bookshops.
