Tisvilde
Denmark
Small coastal village on the north shore of Zealand, Tisvilde draws summer visitors to its beach at Tisvildeleje and the nearby Tisvilde Hegn woodland. The coastal strip developed as a holiday destination during the first half of the 20th century, aided by a rail connection, and now holds some of the most expensive summer houses in Denmark. A modest but real café and restaurant scene serves the seasonal crowd.
