Toucheng

A coastal township at the northern tip of Yilan County, Taiwan, Toucheng sits where the mountains meet the sea and carries a café and restaurant scene that punches above its size. Historically it was the first settled area of the Yilan Plain, earning the title "First Stop of Yilan." The township also holds a record among Taiwan's townships for the number of railway stations within its boundaries, and its territory includes Guishan Island in the Philippine Sea.
