Two Boats
St. Helena
At the foot of Green Mountain on Ascension Island, Two Boats Village takes its name from two upturned boats that were planted in the ground to provide shade for travellers on their way up the mountain. Founded in the early 19th century as a resting point for sailors making the ascent, this pocket-sized settlement is home to the island's only school.
