Veggli
Buskerud · Norway
A small hamlet in Norway's Numedal valley, Veggli sits on the Numedalslågen River in mountain terrain, with ski slopes and a lodge at Vegglifjell to the west. The 1859 wooden church, designed by architect Christian Heinrich Grosch, holds listed protected status. A former stop on the Numedal Line — a railway running from Kongsberg to Rødberg, opened in 1927 and closed to passengers in 1988 — the village is a short drive north of Kongsberg.
