Zuheros
Córdoba · Spain
This pocket-sized whitewashed village in the Subbética mountains of Córdoba province, Zuheros is part of Andalusia's White Towns and has been recognised by the Association of Most Beautiful Villages in Spain since 2016. Its castle is built directly into the mountain rock, and the nearby Cueva de los Murciélagos (Bats' Cave) draws visitors for speleology. Scenic walking routes run through the surrounding sierra, and the village has a handful of cafés and restaurants for its size.
