Augustenborg
Denmark
This modest harbour town on Als Island in southern Denmark, Augustenborg sits at the head of Als Fjord with the Little Belt to the east. The town grew up around Augustenborg Palace, and its historic core still preserves the white-painted houses that once served the ducal court and its administration. A ferry connection to Funen runs from nearby Fynshav.
