The 11th-century church of San Martín de Tours, built in the style of Jaca cathedral and funded in part by the widow of Sancho el Mayor of Navarra, is the architectural centrepiece of this small Palencian village on the French Way of the Camino de Santiago. Pilgrims making the route overnight here, and the village has a handful of cafés and restaurants alongside vineyards in the surrounding countryside.
