Haiduan

A remote mountain township in Taitung County, Taiwan, where the Bunun people make up the great majority of the population. Sitting across the Central Mountain Range, the area is defined by high peaks and deep river valleys — the Xinwulü, Longquan, and other rivers cut through the terrain — and holds the lowest population density of any township in Taiwan, giving it a genuinely sparse, highland character.
