This little fishing village on the Croatian island of Lošinj, Nerezine sits at the water's edge in mountain terrain, with vineyards nearby and several historic churches and houses for a settlement this size. First recorded in the 14th century, it hosts the Nerezine Regatta of traditional sailing boats, a tradition dating to 1920, and the Nerezine Summer Games.
