Setenil de las Bodegas
Cádiz · Spain
Houses built directly into the overhanging rock face of the Río Guadalporcún gorge make Setenil de las Bodegas one of Andalusia's most photographed compact towns. The historic centre, declared a protected ensemble, sits wedged beneath the cliff, with cafés and restaurants lining the cave-like streets below the overhang. The town is part of the Ruta de los Pueblos Blancos and joined the Los Pueblos Más Bonitos de España association in 2019.
