Stenlille

This pocket-sized railway town in western Zealand, Stenlille sits beside Naturpark Åmosen, Denmark's first nature park, covering around 8,000 hectares. The town hosts a lively annual street festival each August, including a vehicle gathering that draws vintage, new, and unusual cars from across Scandinavia, and a weekly classic-car meet runs from April through September. One of Denmark's two underground natural gas storage sites, operational since 1989, lies just outside town.
