Fuglebjerg
Denmark
Small town on western South Zealand, between Næstved and Slagelse, set in an area historically known as "the land of the manor houses" — several estates dating from the 14th century, including Førslevgaard (1374), Fuglebjerggaard (around 1390), and Gunderslevholm (1333), dot the surrounding countryside. Agriculture has long defined the area and remains its primary industry today.
