Haslev

This little railway town on the island of Zealand, southwest of Copenhagen, Haslev is the municipal seat of Faxe Kommune and home to a modest central shopping street running from the church to the station. The nearby estates of Gisselfeld and Bregentved add a point of interest beyond the town itself, and the area holds a concentration of educational institutions including boarding schools and a folk high school.
